LotteryTaxHub app: privacy policy
This policy covers the LotteryTaxHub Android app, published on Google Play by FyoStudioDR. Contact: contact@lotterytaxhub.com. The app has no account and no login.
What stays on your phone
- Your settings: state of residence, the "I live in New York City" choice, games, alerts, theme and language.
- Your tickets: only the numbers, draw date, number of draws, Power Play or multiplier. Never a photo.
- Cached results downloaded from lotterytaxhub.com so the app works offline.
We do not receive this data. If Android backup is on, Android may copy it to your own Google account backup. To delete it, uninstall the app or use Settings › Apps › LotteryTaxHub › Clear storage.
Camera (ticket scanner)
The camera is used only while the scanner screen is open, after you allow it. Text on the ticket is read on your phone by Google ML Kit text recognition (on-device model bundled in the app). Camera frames are processed in memory and are never saved and never sent to us or anyone else. You can always type your numbers instead.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to receive results and jackpot alerts. Your device gets a messaging token and subscribes to topics such as "Powerball results" or "jackpot above $500M"; we do not link topics to a person. "My tickets checked" and "draw closes soon" reminders are created on your phone.

Google's policies: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Crashlytics keeps crash data for 90 days; Analytics keeps user-level data for the retention period set in the Firebase project (2 months by default).
Permissions
- Camera: ticket scanner only.
- Notifications (Android 13+): results, jackpot, ticket and reminder alerts.
- Internet / network state: results, ads, Firebase services.
- Advertising ID (added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK): ads.
Your choices
- Change ad consent at any time in the app: Settings › Privacy options (shown when it applies to you).
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Google › Ads).
- Turn notifications or alerts off in the app or in Android settings.
- US state privacy rights (for example California): you can opt out of targeted advertising through the consent options and your Android ad settings, or email us to exercise other rights.
Children
The app is for adults 18 and older (older in some states). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Not affiliated, no ticket sales
LotteryTaxHub is not affiliated with Powerball, Mega Millions, the Multi-State Lottery Association or any state lottery, and does not sell tickets.
